The Sr. Business System Analyst (Sr. BSA) is responsible for reporting analytics and business process support of multiple systems utilized by functional business groups in higher education supported by the department. The Sr. BSA is expected to be an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in reporting and analytics, demonstrate strong business and systems knowledge of multiple systems and processes in higher education and possess strong communication and project manage skills to consult and lead with business and technical leaders across the organization.
A successful candidate for this advanced position should have experience supporting business processes and information systems and good knowledge using advanced reporting tools to program, code and develop advanced reporting needs for business groups. In addition, the candidate should have the ability to project manage and apply process improvements techniques across business and system processes in order to provide analysis to drive business decisions, improve systems processes and optimize business efficiencies.
As this position supports a wide range of business, systems and process functions, the successful candidate will lead and manage responsibilities as a data and reporting analyst and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least two of the following areas: Customer Relationship Management, Workforce Management, call center telephony systems and other systems as defined by business use.
